Frequently Asked Questions Natural soap faqs

Many of the bars  could be used on your face. However, your face is more sensitive generally than your body, so the essential oils and butters/oils that may work well on your body, could be irritating on your face. Typically, soaps will be a little too drying for your face. I do suggest the Olive Oil based soaps for facial use, moisturize well after.

Of Course! However, I would ask that soaps and other products that have added fragrance not be used on children younger than 2 years old, unless specifically noted. For example, the Olive Oil based soaps (Castile) are 100% natural, with no added colorants nor fragrance or Granny's Oatmeal. Those are perfect for children under 2 and babies as well. 

My soaps are made with high percentages of Olive and Castor oils which provide wonderful conditioning for your hair and scalp.

Just as different skin requires different levels of moisture, you'll need to test out which of our soaps gives your hair the look and feel you want. Regular recipe soaps are generally used as shampoo bars by people with oilier scalp and hair, whereas if you have drier hair, you'll want to try a one that contains shea butter. 

Processing - Processing time is 3-5 business days for made to order items. 

Delays - If the shipping of your order has to be delayed for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible. 

Returns - Due to the sensitivity of  products returns are not accepted. 

Bethany Bathhouse does allow back orders on products. However,  the process is sightly different from the traditional back order.   An product that is made to order and/or out of stock will have a back order option.  Once the back order order is received, it starts the made to order process and requires additional time to be processed.  Generally 1-2 weeks depending on the product.
